The APBioNET student council is an an academic forum for undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and earlyβcareer researchers in bioinformatics and computational biology. The symposium will take place on 14 September 2026 at Royale Chulan Hotel, Penang. Its core objectives are to provide a constructive venue for research presentation, enable feedback from peers and senior investigators, and foster a supportive professional network.
Submissions are invited across a broad range of topics, including singleβcell and spatial omics, artificial intelligence in biomedicine, cancer genomics, protein structure and design, metagenomics, systems biology, and bioinformatics education. Both methodological advances and applied studies are equally welcome. Presenters may choose between oral and poster formats.
