ASMR’s professional development webinar series for 2026 starts with a webinar by Dr Belinda Di Bartolo.
Join us to hear from Dr Di Bartolo about:
Building a Career in STEMM: What No One Tells Early Career Researchers
Time: 4-5pm AEDT
Date: Thursday, 26 March 2026
Presenter: Dr Belinda Di Bartolo
Join ASMR and Belinda Di Bartolo for an honest conversation about the realities of modern STEMM careers and how early-career researchers can begin thinking more strategically about their future.
Belinda Di Bartolo is a STEMM career strategist, founder of BD STEMM Strategies, and co-author of Beyond the Pipeline. With a background in academic research and research leadership, she now works internationally with students, early-career researchers, and established STEMM professionals to help them navigate career development, personal branding, and career transitions both within and beyond academia.
Belinda is known for her refreshingly honest, practical approach to career development in STEMM. Drawing on her own experience as a “recovering academic,” she speaks openly about the realities of modern research careers while helping individuals recognise their value, communicate their strengths, and build careers that are both meaningful and sustainable.
Now as a speaker and workshop facilitator, Belinda combines strategic insight with real-world experience, delivering sessions that are thoughtful, engaging, and grounded in practical action. Her work focuses on empowering STEMM professionals to think more broadly about success, expand their career possibilities, and approach their professional journey with confidence and clarity.
