For the Community,
By the Community
Australia’s premier community-driven AWS conference.
DATE: 16.10.2026
LOC: Brisbane Convention Centre
What is AWS Community Day?
AWS Community Day is a community-led conference that brings together cloud practitioners from across Australia for a day of learning, networking, and inspiration.
Unlike vendor-led conferences, all our speakers are hands-on practitioners — engineers, architects, and developers who work with AWS every day. They share real-world experiences, lessons learned, and practical insights you can apply immediately.
The event has a nominal attendance fee to support event operations, with the majority of costs covered by our sponsors and the volunteer efforts of AWS User Group organizers and community members across Australia.
Who Should Attend?
AWS Community Day is for anyone interested in cloud technology.
- Developers – learn about serverless, containers, and modern development practices on AWS
- Architects – deep-dive into architecture patterns, best practices, and real-world case studies
- DevOps & SREs – explore CI/CD, observability, platform engineering, and operational excellence
- Security Engineers – stay current with cloud security practices, compliance, and zero-trust architecture
- Data & ML Engineers – discover AI/ML services, data platforms, and generative AI on AWS
- Students & Beginners – get started with AWS, meet mentors, and learn about cloud career paths
