Introduction to RNA Sequencing Data Analysis with R/Bioconductor
Online Course: Introduction to RNA Sequencing Data Analysis with R/Bioconductor
Dates: 9, 11, 13, 16, 17, 18 November -Time: 3–6 PM (Berlin time)
Instructor: Ludwig Geistlinger
We are pleased to announce a hands-on online course designed for biologists and bioinformaticians who want to build solid, practical skills in RNA-seq data analysis using R and Bioconductor.
This course provides a structured introduction to the statistical and computational foundations of high-throughput genomic data analysis.
Topics covered:
– Data import, manipulation, and visualization in R (including ggplot2)
– Hypothesis testing and interpretation in biological contexts
– Working with genomic data in Bioconductor (BED, GTF, VCF, FASTA)
– RNA-seq workflows: mapping, counts, normalization, differential expression
– Multiple testing and false discovery rate control
– Gene set and pathway analysis (GO, KEGG) and enrichment methods
In collaboration with Bioconductor
