Genos and Beyond: From Scalable AI Infrastructure to Multi-Omics Data Analysis

This talk introduces Genos, a large open-source human-centric genomic foundation model that learns directly from high-quality human genomes representing global ancestries and scales to single-nucleotide precision across ultra-long contexts. Dr Yang will explore how Genos reflects a broader shift from simply “reading” genomes toward decoding the dynamic logic of life through integrated omics and AI. The session will also highlight practical bioinformatics capabilities supporting scalable data processing and workflow orchestration across short-read, long-read, and spatial omics datasets, alongside intelligent laboratory infrastructure, highlighting emerging opportunities for the bioinformatics community in the era of AI-powered life science.
